For the most part JJs is great for your local Chinese takeout. I miss the days when you could eat inside. The food was so much better freshly made and served than getting it as takeout and having it sit for awhile. The Kung Pao Chicken is great. The General Tso and the Lo Mein are also good. The wonton soup is hit or miss. Sometimes it has great flavor other times it's lacking. The trick with this place is to pick it up right away so it's as fresh as possible. If it sits too long it looses its appeal. So if they say ten minutes, get there in eight.
JJ Asian Cuisine is located in a busy shopping center in Harleysville. Their menu is extensive and offers various Chinese, Thai and Japanese food. They have great lunch specials that are very affordable. I have only ordered sushi and have been impressed each time. The ingredients taste fresh and are made correctly. At the moment, it is only take out which is a shame. I would love to see them open the restaurant for dining. Overall, the food is great and it's worth a try!
This was the first time we ordered from JJ Asian Cuisine. Wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find Thai food on the menu as well as Japanese. The hot and sour soup we ordered was good, tasted the sour but the "hot" needed to be kicked up a bit. Egg rolls tasted OK but were a bit thin. Vegetable Moo Sho was good (hoisin sauce was kind of runny) and the Thia red curry w/chicken, fried tofu and vegetables was very good. At this time, take out only. Overall, driving from Skippack was worth the trip. Food was ready and precautions in place at this time were appreciated. Will go back.
